Across communities, young people are seeking opportunities to connect, thrive, and build resilience. At the same time, there is an urgent need to address health and wellbeing challenges, including the impacts of alcohol and other drugs, through prevention and youth-led initiatives.
This grant opportunity supports events that inspire participation, strengthen futures, and promote healthier pathways for young people. Whether through creative community activities, skills-building workshops, or awareness campaigns, applicants can design impactful events that align with one of two focus areas: empowering youth to thrive or advancing harm reduction strategies. All events must include at least one activity during Queensland Youth Week, with additional activities possible through mid-2026.
đź’ˇ Funding available up to five figures per event, supporting inclusive, youth-focused initiatives. Applications close in February 2026.
