Technology, climate change, and shifting demographics are transforming the world of work at an unprecedented pace. From automation risks to youth employment pressures, from gender inequalities to sustainability-linked transitions, the challenges demand bold, creative solutions.
This international competition invites graduate student teams to design innovative, interdisciplinary responses to real-world labour market challenges. Finalists — one team per continent — will be flown to Geneva to present their projects, gaining global visibility, networking opportunities, and the chance to influence the future of work. Proposals must go beyond diagnosis, offering feasible, scalable interventions that address pressing issues such as gig work, informality, reskilling, and green jobs.
💡 Prizes include CHF 10,000 for first place, CHF 5,000 for two runners-up, and CHF 2,500 for two third-place winners, plus international recognition.
