Across Africa, startups are driving innovation in renewable energy — from smart grids and clean cooking to electric mobility and agrivoltaics. Yet many ventures face barriers in scaling their solutions and accessing tailored support.
This program, launched by Enel Foundation with contributions from RES4Africa Foundation and Strathmore University, nurtures entrepreneurial ventures through training, mentorship, and exposure to industry networks. It emphasizes solutions in AI for energy, smart grid management, electric mobility, and agrivoltaics, encouraging startups to design scalable, impactful models for energy access and climate resilience.
At the end of the program, two standout startups will each receive €10,000 in funding to accelerate their growth. The initiative prioritizes young entrepreneurs aged 18–35 with African citizenship or registered startups in Africa, operating for at least one year in renewable energy and electrification. English proficiency is required to ensure effective participation in training and mentorship.
💡 Support available — tailored training, mentorship, and two €10,000 awards for the most promising startups.
