From war and terrorism to family conflict and climate‑driven instability, violence continues to shape societies and futures across the globe. Understanding its roots — and finding pathways to peace — is one of the most urgent challenges of our time.
This funding call supports research projects that explore the mechanisms of violence, its historical and social dimensions, and policy‑relevant solutions to reduce harm. Eligible studies may address political extremism, racial and religious conflict, climate instability, or intimate‑partner violence — with emphasis on how today’s findings can prevent tomorrow’s violence.
Applicants may be based anywhere in the world, with awards typically ranging from $15,000 to $75,000 per year for one to two years. Larger grants may be considered for projects with exceptional scope and justification.
📊 Support available — annual research grants up to mid‑five figures, with potential for extended funding.
