The SPARK initiative by the WHO/IBP Network is calling for proposals from youth‑led, women‑led, and indigenous‑led organizations that are advancing sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and rights. This program is designed to reimagine how WHO guidelines are applied in real‑world settings, ensuring that communities — not institutions — drive the health agenda.
Projects should creatively adapt WHO tools to local contexts, integrate sexual and reproductive health into broader sectors such as climate, livelihoods, education, or faith‑based initiatives, and meaningfully involve communities in design, decision‑making, and evaluation. Selected organizations will also gain visibility through IBP’s global Communities of Practice.
