Priority will be given to projects advancing zero‑emission solutions and fossil fuel phase‑out, with consideration for energy efficiency measures where immediate transition is constrained. Relevant approaches include electrification, renewable thermal integration, advanced heat recovery, low‑carbon fuel substitution, and process optimization.
Research should quantify emission and exposure reductions, measure health outcomes (mortality, morbidity), estimate climate impacts, and assess social or economic outcomes such as community acceptance.
