Across Uganda, young innovators are reshaping farming with bold ideas — from climate‑smart production and agritech solutions to green and circular agribusiness models. Smallholder farmers face challenges of productivity, resilience, and market access, and this national platform empowers youth to design solutions that strengthen value chains and improve livelihoods.
The challenge features two tracks: one for agritech ventures developing prototypes and scalable technologies, and another for agribusiness entrepreneurs in processing, waste conversion, and market‑ready products. Winners will receive catalytic financing, incubation, mentorship, and access to a wider innovation ecosystem. Special recognition is given to women, persons with disabilities, and innovators from underserved regions.
📊 Support available — funding up to UGX 205 million, plus incubation and mentorship for youth‑led agribusiness and agritech startups.
