Children and adolescents face urgent challenges — from poor nutrition and mental health risks to unsafe roads and limited access to education. Without strong communication platforms, these issues remain invisible, leaving communities under-informed and children without the support they need.
This initiative builds a national coalition of radio stations and media professionals to integrate child rights into everyday programming. It supports foundational literacy, adolescent wellbeing, and climate action while addressing emerging challenges like non-communicable diseases, road safety, and mental health. Through radio dramas, interviews, phone-in shows, and youth-led content, the programme empowers communities with knowledge and strengthens engagement across diverse audiences.
💡 Grants are available in the six-figure range (USD equivalent), supporting long-term media partnerships and capacity building for professionals committed to child rights.
