Across Africa, countless families face the pain of life‑threatening illness without access to the medicines, equipment, and support they need. Palliative care is not just about easing suffering — it’s about restoring dignity, providing compassion, and ensuring no one is left behind.
This opportunity offers direct support for frontline hospices and care providers, funding essentials like medicines, equipment, transport, mobile technology, bereavement support, and caregiver training. Secondary support may also cover food, home‑based care, psychosocial and spiritual services, and rehabilitation, ensuring holistic care for vulnerable populations.
Priority is given to projects serving children, persons with disabilities, refugees, older persons, and prisoners — reaching those most often excluded from quality care. By strengthening immediate service delivery, these grants help organizations provide comfort, hope, and resilience to families in their hardest moments.
💡 Small grants available — up to five figures in local currency for one‑year projects.
