In South Africa’s underserved districts, rural communities continue to face challenges of inequality, limited resources, and fragile infrastructure. This programme invites committed citizens to step forward and contribute to community-driven development, fostering cooperation, mutual learning, and respect for local traditions and values.
Selected volunteers will serve full‑time for one year in regions such as the North West, Limpopo, and Northern Cape, supporting small-scale projects that improve quality of life. Participants receive a monthly stipend, medical insurance, UIF coverage, and digital tools to enable effective service delivery.
Eligibility is open to South African citizens aged 21+ with a university degree or equivalent experience, prepared to live and work in rural areas. Volunteers are expected to demonstrate accountability, sound judgment, and collaborative engagement with host communities.
💡 Support available — monthly stipend, medical insurance, and digital tools for one year of rural service.
