Conservation success depends not only on ecosystems but also on people — their rights, livelihoods, governance systems, and choices. This grant supports collaborative projects that strengthen institutional capacity, empower communities, and promote inclusive, sustainable development through nature-based solutions.
Funding is available for initiatives that build practical skills, foster professional networks, and engage diverse stakeholders, including local and indigenous communities. Projects must include active learning approaches such as mentoring, field-based training, and hands-on capacity building.
Eligible applicants are legally registered organizations in Kenya, Tanzania, or Madagascar with proven experience in addressing environmental and social impacts in conservation and development. Proposals must be completed by December 2027, with budgets up to US$15,000 supported.
💡 Grants available up to US$15,000 to strengthen inclusive conservation and governance capacity.
