Africa’s sustainable future depends on bridging the gap between research and policymaking. From health and food security to biodiversity, energy, and digital innovation, the continent’s challenges require bold scientific voices that can shape decisions and drive inclusive growth.
This six‑month mentoring programme empowers early and mid‑career scientists to transform their expertise into actionable policy advice. Participants will gain hands‑on guidance from experienced mentors, sharpen their ability to communicate evidence, and join a vibrant network of peers working across disciplines and regions. With workshops, one‑to‑one mentoring, and collaborative exchanges, the programme builds capacity for science advice that truly informs change.
Applicants with strong scientific track records and a passion for policy engagement are encouraged to apply. Priority is given to those whose work advances Africa’s sustainable development goals in areas such as health, water, energy, food security, biodiversity, indigenous knowledge, and AI innovation.
💡 Support includes structured mentoring and global networking over six months.
