This funding call supports carbon removal, extreme weather forecasting, and novel geoengineering concepts. Proposals may range from curiosity-driven research to near-commercial development, with priority given to projects that challenge existing assumptions and demonstrate originality. Eligible applicants include individuals, students, universities, research institutions, companies, charities, and public sector organizations. International applicants may also be considered if their work provides significant benefit to the UK.
💡 Grants are available in the £10,000–£500,000 range, supporting projects of up to three years with no minimum duration.
