Megan Kenna is an entrepreneurial resource mobilization professional, with international experience raising funds for NGOs, start-ups, and development organizations in the US, Europe, and Africa. Megan has worked with dozens of governmental and international organizations. She is an experienced proposal developer, having raised over US$60 million for a range of program around the world. Megan has developed a broad range of successful applications to US government agencies, including USAID, for development organizations large and small. She has worked in both the US and Europe.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is a major source of funds and partnership opportunities for NGOs around the world. USAID offers a significant amount of funding resources for NGOs through grant opportunities and requests for applications. USAID’s funding resources support a wide range of issues areas: agriculture and food security; democracy and human rights; education; global health; environment and global climate change; gender equality; and more.
Despite this, many NGOs often do not apply for funding with USAID because of the complexity and highly competitive nature of the USAID grant system. These funding guidelines can be difficult to understand, instructions are complicated, and the application form can be difficult to follow. But this should not deter NGOs from trying. With some time and effort, it is possible to understand the grant system and apply for USAID grants successfully.
This entry-level webinar will help NGOs identify and apply to USAID request for applications and grant opportunities.

I just wanted to thank you the very informative and practical webinar. Also thanks for the opportunity to access the Webinar Rebroadcast. This opportunity is very important as, it is seldom possible to participate in live broadcasts due the time difference, being based in NZ.Johnny Edmonds
I am so excited to write you again, to give you feedback of our experience after participating in your webinar and subscribing for the FundsforNGOs premium membership. We've actually received a positive response from a UK-based charity who asked us to send them our wish list.Kelechi
