Math and science Olympiads are powerful platforms for discovering and nurturing exceptional talent. Research shows that Olympiad medalists are disproportionately represented among major scientific prize winners, underscoring the importance of early identification and sustained development of young innovators.
This grant program provides annual sponsorships to organizations running national and regional Olympiad programs worldwide, with a focus on the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) pipelines. Support is also available for other STEM Olympiads and gifted education initiatives.
Eligible applicants include organizations from countries that have participated in the IMO or IOI in at least two of the last three years, as well as regional competitions serving such countries. Sponsorships are renewable annually, with flexibility to pause or resume based on progress.
💡 Funding ranges from USD 10,000 for first‑time sponsorships to USD 20,000–30,000 for Lead Sponsorships, with optional three‑year plans.
