A major initiative is set to empower 500 women and girls in Gilgit, with inclusive participation of women with disabilities, minorities, and transgender individuals. The program focuses on agriculture, livestock, artisanal crafts, tourism, and climate‑resilient livelihoods, while strengthening women’s skills, collective agency, and market linkages.
Selected civil society organizations will lead capacity‑building, support home‑based workers and artisans, and promote gender equality through community advocacy and digital tools.
