Climate change is hitting hardest where resilience is weakest — and young people are among the most affected. Yet they are also the ones driving bold, practical solutions to safeguard their communities against disasters.
This global opportunity empowers youth to design and lead innovative, results‑oriented projects that strengthen disaster preparedness, reduce risks, and build resilience. From combining Indigenous and scientific approaches to creating new community engagement models, the focus is on scalable, sustainable ideas that deliver real impact. Selected leaders will receive expert guidance while implementing their initiatives, ensuring that projects not only protect communities but also inspire broader climate action.
Applicants must be students or young professionals aged 18–35, with projects rooted in local needs and designed to produce tangible outputs within nine months.
💡 Grants provide seed funding up to several thousand USD for youth‑led climate resilience projects.
