Indigenous Peoples worldwide continue to lead powerful advocacy for rights, recognition, and inclusion. This fund ensures that representatives can participate meaningfully in two key United Nations processes in 2027: the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (New York, 10–21 May) and the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (Geneva, 12–16 July).
Selected participants will receive travel arrangements and stipends covering accommodation and related expenses, in line with UN procedures. Applications are open to Indigenous individuals and representatives of Indigenous organizations actively engaged in promoting and protecting Indigenous rights, with special encouragement for Indigenous persons with disabilities and Indigenous 2SLGBTQ+ advocates.
